There
are many different places to take children or trips or for
outings. Some are simple, cheap and quick. Others can take
up a whole day and are more exciting, but may be expensive.
I tend to mix them so that I don't spend too much in one week!
Here are some examples but I'm sure you have other local interests
too. I've split them up into two sections - Indoor and Outdoor.
Your local council can give you lists of parks and toddler groups, and your local
tourist board should be able to tell you about all the places to visit. Remember,
when walking outdoors with young children, to talk to them about the surroundings
and to take it slowly, at their pace!
